Touch Rugby - The Opening Match of Sino-British Cultural Week
In order to carry on the times’ spirit, promote cultural exchanges between Chinese and English, enhance the friendly relationship between students and teachers, enrich students’ college life, improve students’ cultural knowledge quality, from June 10th to 14th, our college started the week-long “Sino-British culture week”. The touch rugby game was held at 8 a.m. on June 10th at the football field of the East Campus. The participants are divided into two groups. The leader of group A is the foreign teacher Niall Bench, and the leader of group B is the teacher Ye hualong. Both team members are college students.

Since it was the first time for students to learn touch rugby, Mr. Bench introduced the project to the players and conducted drills before the game to help them understand the rules. Although it rained heavily during the match, all the players still threw themselves into the match.
Foreign teachers and students cooperate perfectly
The game ended in a 2-2 draw. The players of both sides fought in the rain, and their spirit was commendable. The competition was a complete success showing a good mental outlook of teachers and students.
